South Korea Billionaire Businessman Chey Tae-won’s Expensive Divorce Settlement With Soon-To-Be Former Wife Roh Soh-Yeong
Chey Tae-won, a South Korean billionaire businessman has been on the verge of terminating his relationship since 2017.
The soon to be getting divorced couple, Chey Tae-won and wife Soh Yeong Roh, exchanged their marital vows in 1988 after meeting each other at the University of Chicago.
Indeed, he and his wife were having quite a good time for years. The duo is blessed with three children, son Chey In-Keun and daughters Chey Yoon-Jung and Chey Min-Jeong.
Though, in around 2016s, their relationship took a bitter turn. All was going well until Won sent a three pages letter to a local newspaper stating his extramarital affair. On the same note, he revealed that he had fathered a child outside of his marriage.

In 2017, Yeong Roh filed for divorce against billionaire Chey Tae-won demanding 42.3% of her husband’s stakes in SK Holdings.
According to a source, the divorce settlement she is asking for is worth somewhere around $1.2 billion based in the present market.

Moreover, if the court finalizes the divorce, Roh would possibly be the second-biggest shareholder of the company following her to be ex-husband Taw-won.

Chey Tae-won is a South-Korean billionaire entrepreneur. He is the chairman of South Korea’s third-largest conglomerate SK Group. The company is among the world’s largest mobile carriers and oil refiner. He has a net worth of around $2.9 billion in 2019.
Soh Yeong Roh is a South Korean art museum director and the daughter of the former president of South Korea. Well, after the divorce settlement, she will be a billionaire.
