Stokeley Clevon Goulbourne was born on April 18, 1996, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The 26-year-old is of Jamaican origin.

His father was a rapper who went by the stage name “Sin City”. Wanting his son to follow in his footsteps, he often forced Stokeley to write his own songs and pursue music.

Stokeley spent a brief spell in a juvenile detention center for possession of marijuana. In the juvie center, he met Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, who would come to be known as the rapper XXXTentacion.

They bonded over their collective misfortunes and formed a friendship. When they were released from the detention facility, they started making music together.

Since June 2018, Goulbourne is residing in Atlanta, Georgia.
