Sandy Mahl was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the United States, on 16 January 1965 to John Mahl and Pat Mahl.
She got her university degree from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, where she met the love of her life.
She was diagnosed with Breast cancer in 2006. Many assume her to be dead from breast cancer as she was out of media radar for so long; fortunately, she survived it and is living a healthy life in Rogers County, Oklahoma.
As of 2020, Mahl is 5 feet 5 inches (165 cm) tall and weighs around 56 kg (123 pounds).
