Nancy Allen, 72, is a retired American actress who is widely known for her outstanding performance in movies like I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Carrie, and 1941. 

Allen earned her major film role as Nancy in the 1973 film The Last Detail. She made her career breakthrough as Christine Hargensen in Carrie alongside Amy Irving, Sissy Spacek, and John Travolta. About her work in the organization, she said: “That is what I do. That is what my life is dedicated to. I’m there, I run it. I’ve created the whole program format and I fundraise. It is my life’s work.”

She went to the Academy of Mount St. Ursula in the Bronx and later the High School of Performing Arts where she trained for a dancing career. Similarly, she also enrolled at Jose Quintano’s School for Young Professionals.

Anne married her first husband Brian De Palma on 12th January 1979 and was married until 1984. She then married her second husband Craig Shoemaker on 6th September 1992 which ended in 1994 after two years.
