On October 25, 2019, MrBeast participated in charitable events along with YouTuber Mark Rober. Together they organized fundraising challenge events, #TeamTrees on YouTube.
The aim of the project is to raise $20 million by January 1, 2020, and plant trees “no later than December 2022” for the non-profit organization, Arnor Daya Foundation. In the exchange of the challenge, the foundation promised to plant 1 tree for each dollar.

On March 6, 2020, the challenge reached more than $21.7 million, where co-operate executives such as Elton Musk, Jack Dorsey, Tobias Lütke, and Susan Wojcicki also made a large donation.
