C.K made his directorial debut at the age of 17 with Trash Day in 1984, then in 1985, he did his first stand up show at a club in Boston. He was not initially successful and even though of quitting the industry but Conan O’Brien hired him and according to Louis this is what made him stay.

Louis C.K. was born Louis Székely on September 12, 1967, in Washington, D.C., U.S. to Luis Szekely and Mary Louise Szekely. CK went to Newton North High School.
He worked odd jobs after his graduation and was in the same batch of students as Matt LeBlanc.
C.K. is single as of March 2020 but was married to Alix Bailey, they tied the knot in 1995 and gave birth to daughters: Katherine “Kitty” Szekely and Mary Louise Szekely, before divorcing in 2008.
