In February 2016, Kodak Black was arrested for allegedly “ripping off the clothes, biting and raping” a nurse who had followed him to his hotel room after a performance.

The rapper paid the bond of $100,000 to go free but was later got into trouble with the authorities after violating probation and house arrest rules.
Additionally, an organizer also filed a lawsuit against the rapper after he did not show for a concert. The promoter claimed that his failure to show caused him $500,000 in losses.
He was also arrested for illegal possession of marijuana on April 17, 2019 at US Customs while trying to enter United States from Canada & had to pay either $40,000 or $20,000 bail.
The musician’s legal troubles did not stop there as he was charged with lying on government forms and had to pay $500,000 as bail. The rapper used his $600,000 house to pay the bond and was set free.
In February 2020, he appealed against a 46 month prison sentence in court.
