Jack Anderson revealed that George signed a commercial deal worth $835 thousand in 1994. He sealed the deal with a below-market loan from the Bank of America. The NationsBank’ loan officer reported that the loan did not fit their product matrix.
One of the former senior bank regulators revealed that if he did not work in the White House, he would not have gotten the loan. The loan was a residential mortgage loan.
