Then in 1992, he was cast in the show Martin as Stan Winters; he had the role from 1992 to 1995. A year after his stint as Martin ended, he played Uncle Junior King on The Jamie Foxx Show with Jamie Foxx.

More recently, he was cast as Earl in 2 Broke Girls and faced a lawsuit for allegedly not paying 10% of his income to Global Agency, which was later cleared up as a misunderstanding.
