In 2010, Emma Roberts bought a $1.25 million home in the upscale Hollywood Hills neighborhood of California. The one-story two bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms stood atop 2,124 square feet of high-end real estate.

She sank $1,400,000 – more than its original purchase price — to renovate the house from the ground-up in 2012.

The single-story home was expanded to have three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. The kitchen also got a modern makeover with modern appliances and Calcutta gold countertops. The adjoining dining area has a fireplace. The house also has a media room and two-room guest quarters with flooring reclaimed from a French chateau.

Roberts sold the property — home and all — to actress Sarah Paulson in 2016. They struck up a friendship while filming American Horror Story and had a relationship amicable enough for the deal to take place off the market. Roberts got $1.65 million for the property.

In April 2018, Roberts snatched up a 1920s Mediterranean home in Los Feliz, California, for a reported $4 million.

The three-story villa is surrounded by lush green vegetation, and the exterior is an eye-catching shade of sunshine yellow with the interior decked in mahogany. The villa has three bedrooms and two full and two half bathrooms.

The second-floor living room is almost exclusively walnut-wood floored and has a carved-stone fireplace. The adjoining dining area features top-of-the-line furniture and a Spanish chandelier. Floor-to-ceiling French doors lead the way to a balcony.

The kitchen is furnished with mahogany cabinets and granite countertops with state-of-the-art appliances.

Emma Roberts was born Emma Rose Roberts on February 10, 1991, in Rhinebeck, New York. The only daughter of actor Eric Roberts and Kelly Cunningham, her father, is an Academy Award-nominated actor of such movies as King of the Gypsies, Star 80, Runaway Train, and The Dark Knight.
