The Deadwood creator David Milch sold his Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts compound. He exchanged hands with the property for $7 million ($6.9 million to be exact) on December 12, after slashing nearly $1 million, as an attempt to sell it in 2015 failed to attract a buyer.
As a matter of fact, NYPD Blue creator kept his estate for sale almost three years earlier with a tag of $7.9 million.

The 22 acres property features a main house, a 1,585 square feet guesthouse, and around 600 square feet pond house.
Moreover, the main house built in a fantastic Cape Cod-style boasts five bedrooms and seven bathrooms along with a weathered and shingled exterior.

The creator of Hill Street Blues dropped a handsome sum of $4 million in 1996 for the vineyard property.

As he sold the property for $7 million, he made a profit of more than $3 million.
Previously, Milch and his wife sold their Los Angeles Brentwood neighborhood house for $4.8 million in 2014 to cover their debts to IRS, which was no less than $5 million.

Reside In A Rented House Now
During the height of his career, David Milch, an American TV personality, writer, and producer, once owned a net worth of $100 million.
However, the gambling habit of Milch parted him with $25 million in 2014; gambled Santa Anita horse racetrack over 10 years before the financial crisis hit him, leaving no money in the pocket eventually.
