Time And Work With Talking Heads

David Byrne was working to support his dream of having a band; at the same time, he also had a day job that paid the bills. Byrne, along with Chris Frantz, Tina Weymouth, and Jerry Harrison, formed Talking Heads.

They experimented for a bit before eventually finding their signature sound in the new wave.

The group released Talking Heads: 77 in April 1977. The album single “Psycho Killer” reached 92 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts making their first piece of work as a band successful.

Then in 1978, they released More Songs About Buildings and Food, which was a commercial and critical success.

Some of their other well-known albums include Speaking in Tongues, Little Creatures, True Stories, and Naked.
