Jackie Chan Pledged To Charity Upon His Death-Paying 1 Million Yuan To Cure Coronavirus

Chan Kong-sang, who is professionally known as Jackie Chan, is not only an actor, singer, martial artist, film director, and stuntman but is also a man of a generous heart. Chan made his film debut at the age of five as a child actor with minor roles in films.
He came to the mainstream success with his work in the 1978 film Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow and Drunken Master. Chan made his Hollywood debut from the 1995 film Rumble in the Bronx alongside Anita Mui and Francoise Yip.
He made his blockbuster success with the 1998 action-comedy film Rush Hour starring him and Chris Tucker. Throughout his career, he has appeared in numerous films and TV shows to date.

The organization also donated RMB$1 million (USD$160,000), and Jackie personally donated SGD$100,000 (USD$74,400) for the aid reliefs when a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal in April 2015.
In a similar way, Chan founded the Dragon’s Heart Foundation, which aims to meet the needs of underprivileged children and the elderly in the remote areas of the immense country. With his foundation, Chan has visited several remote places to provide warm clothes, wheelchairs, school supplies, and building schools.

Chan Is Reportedly Paying 1 Million Yuan To Those Who Can Cure Coronavirus
The first Covid-19 case was traced back to December 2019 in Wuhan, China. As per sources, 266 people were tested positive with the virus and came under medical surveillance last year.
The Chinese government reportedly hide the outbreak in the early weeks, including crackdowns on doctors who tried to warn their colleagues about the new virus.
As per data obtained by The Post, the first person to contract Covid-19 was said to be a 55-year-old from Hubei province. As of March 2020, China has the most cases of 80,844 with 20+ every day, with total death of 3,199.
As of 15th March 2020, over 156,785 people have been tested positive to the virus globally, and total deaths count 5,839, and 75,937 cases have reportedly recovered.
Countries like the United States and France are closing all restaurants, cinemas, cafes, gym, and clubs to avoid the spread of the virus.
Amidst the hiatus, actor Jackie Chan was rumored to be infected by the virus. However, Chan revealed that he was tested negative for the virus, and the rumors were false.
Following the outrage, the legendary Chinese actor has pledged to give 1 million Yuan as a reward to whoever is able to find the antidote to the infectious disease COVID 19.
He wrote, “Science and technology is key to overcoming the virus, and I believe many people have the same thought like me, and I hope that an antidote can be developed as soon as possible.”
