Alexandra Morgan Carrasco, 31, is an American soccer player who plays for the Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).

She made her first club debut with Western New York Flash in 2011 where she played 14 matches and scored four goals. As of 2018, Morgan has been co-captaining the national team with Megan Rapinoe and Carli Lloyd. Alex Morgan began playing soccer at an early age as her father as her first coach. She began playing club soccer at 14 with Cypress Elite.

On 14th January 2011, she was picked in the 2011 WPS Draft by the Western New York Flash. With the team, she scored her first goal with a 3-0 win over the Atlanta Beat on 1st May 2011.

After WPS, she joined the Seattle Sounders Women for the 2012 season. She made three regular-season appearances for the club due to her national team commitments and preparation for the 2012 Summer Olympics.

In 2013, she was one of the three U.S. national team players to joined the Portland Thorns FC for the inaugural season of the National Women’s Soccer League. After defeating regular-season champions Western New York Flash 2-0, Portland captured the league’s inaugural championship title.
